Terms and Conditions

Enough Safety Ltd · Version 1.0 · 16 June 2026

1. These terms

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your participation in the voice sample contribution programme (the “Programme”) operated by Enough Safety Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14962884, registered office 30 Churchill Place, London, England, E14 5RE) (“we”, “us”, “our”). Under the Programme, you may volunteer recordings of your voice, without payment, to help train our artificial intelligence models. You accept these Terms by ticking the acceptance box during sign-up. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not sign up or submit any Recordings. Please keep a copy for your records. Your personal data, including your voice recordings, is handled as described in our Supplemental Privacy Notice: Voice Sample Contribution Programme (the “Supplemental Privacy Notice”) and our main privacy notice, both available at https://www.enobadge.com/. Please read the Supplemental Privacy Notice before signing up: it explains that your recordings will be used to train AI models and that contributions already used to train a model may not be capable of removal or deletion. We do not ask you to provide information that directly identifies you, such as your name or contact details, when you take part, with two limited exceptions: one scripted Recording asks you to say your own first name, and if you contact us by email to make a request we will receive the email address you write from.

2. Definitions

• “Recording”: an audio recording of your voice made by you for the Programme by reading the scripts and following the instructions on our website.

• “Sample Set”: the complete set of Recordings specified in the instructions on our website at the time you sign up.

• “Submission”: your upload of a complete Sample Set through our website.

3. Eligibility

To participate you must:

● be aged 18 or over;

● be residing in the UK;

● have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and

● provide accurate sign-up information. You may hold only one Programme account. Because we do not collect information that directly identifies you, we rely on your confirmation at sign-up that you meet these requirements, and we may refuse or close an account where we reasonably believe they are not met.

4. Making your Submission

You record on your own device through your web browser, which will ask your permission to use your microphone. You must make each Recording yourself, in your own voice, by reading the designated scripts and following the technical and quality instructions on our website (covering matters such as recording environment, microphone use, file format and duration). Some scripts call for a raised, urgent voice and for short exclamations: please use a strong voice but do not scream, and stop if you feel any throat strain. Do not include any words, sounds or information beyond the designated scripts (which may include saying your own first name where the script asks for it), and ensure no other person's voice is captured in any Recording. A Submission is complete when every Recording in the Sample Set has been successfully uploaded through our website. You may re-record any sample before completing your Submission.

5. Review and acceptance

We may review Recordings for compliance with these Terms and the website instructions. We may reject a Recording or a Submission which is incomplete, inaudible or of poor technical quality, does not follow the scripts or instructions, appears not to be a live human recording of your own voice, or otherwise breaches these Terms. If we reject individual Recordings, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to re-record and resubmit them. If we reject a Submission for breach of clause 9 (your promises to us), we may also close your account.

6. No payment

Participation in the Programme is voluntary and unpaid. No fee, expenses or other compensation is payable for your Recordings or your time. No payment of any kind is made to you in connection with the Programme. You participate as an independent volunteer, and nothing in these Terms creates any employment, worker, agency or partnership relationship between you and us.

7. Your data

By participating you acknowledge that:

• your Recordings will be used to train, test and improve our AI models, including retraining and successor models; and

• once your Recordings have been used to train a model, it may not be possible to remove, return or delete your individual contribution from that model. Because the Recordings are not linked to anything that identifies you, we are generally unable to locate, change or delete any particular Recording after it is submitted. Because we hold no information that identifies you and cannot link a Recording back to you, we are generally unable to act on a request about a specific Recording once it has been submitted.

8. Intellectual property and performers' rights

In consideration of our agreeing to accept and review your Recordings and to operate the Programme, you assign to us, with full title guarantee, all intellectual property rights in and to your Recordings, including all copyright and rights in performances, whether existing now or in the future and anywhere in the world (and by way of present assignment of future rights where applicable). This assignment takes effect on upload of each Recording. So far as permitted by law, you irrevocably waive all moral rights in the Recordings and you consent, for the purposes of Part II of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and equivalent laws elsewhere, to our exploitation, copying, modification and use of your performances in the Recordings for any purpose connected with the Programme, including AI model training, development and commercialisation, without payment. You will, at our reasonable request and expense, do anything reasonably necessary to confirm or perfect this assignment and these consents.

9. Your promises to us and indemnity

You promise that: each Recording is a live recording of your own natural voice and is not generated, cloned or altered by software; you are aged 18 or over; the information you provide at sign-up is accurate and relates to you; your Recordings will not include the voice or personal information of any other person, or any content that infringes another person's rights; and you will not use more than one account, impersonate anyone, or otherwise act dishonestly in connection with the Programme. You will indemnify us, and keep us indemnified, against all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) we suffer or incur as a result of any claim by a third party that a Recording you submitted, or our use of it in accordance with these Terms, infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights (including copyright, rights in performances and moral rights) or arises from your breach of the promises in this clause 9. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim results from changes we make to a Recording that you could not reasonably have anticipated. We will notify you of any such claim and you will give us reasonable cooperation in dealing with it.

10. Suspension and ending the Programme

We may suspend or close your account and reject Submissions if we reasonably believe you have broken clause 9 or otherwise materially breached these Terms. We may suspend, change or end the Programme at any time; this will not affect the rights assigned and consents given under clause 8 in respect of Recordings already submitted.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss of income or anticipated savings or for any loss that is not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms, and our total liability to you in connection with the Programme is limited to £1,000. In particular, and subject to the first sentence of this clause 11, we are not liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss arising from any unauthorised access to, or any loss, corruption or disclosure of, your Recordings or other voice sample data we hold about you, including any loss of income or opportunity, damage to reputation, or distress that is not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or of our obligations under data protection law. This clause does not limit any right you have to compensation under Article 82 of the UK GDPR or any other right under data protection law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.

12. General

These Terms, together with the Supplemental Privacy Notice and the website instructions they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Programme. We may update these Terms from time to time; changes will not apply to Submissions already completed. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce them.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@enoughsafety.com.

14. Acceptance

I confirm that I have read and agree to these Terms and to the Supplemental Privacy Notice. I assign to Enough Safety Ltd all intellectual property rights in my Recordings as set out in clause 8. I confirm that I am aged 18 or over and that each Recording is a live recording of my own natural voice.

Supplemental Privacy Notice

Enough Safety Ltd · Version 1.0 · 16 June 2026

1. About this notice

This notice supplements the Enough Safety Ltd privacy notice available at https://www.enobadge.com/ or otherwise provided in soft/hard copy. It applies to you if you sign up to record and submit voice samples through our website (the “Programme”). Participation is voluntary and unpaid. We have designed the Programme to collect as little information about you as possible: online, we do not ask for your name, contact details, bank details or anything else intended to identify you directly, and we do not associate your recordings in our systems with any directly identifying personal data. We treat the voice recordings as anonymous information and, on that basis, consider that they fall outside UK data protection law; this notice explains how we use them and how we handle the limited personal data we do hold (such as your account log-in, technical data, and any email you send us). Two limited exceptions apply: one scripted recording asks you to say your own first name, which forms part of that recording (see section 5); and if you choose to contact us by email to make a request, we will receive and use your email address to handle it (see section 6). It explains how we use your voice samples and the specific consequences of contributing them, including some important limits on deletion. Where this notice and the main privacy notice overlap, this notice applies to your participation in the Programme. Enough Safety Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14962884, registered office 30 Churchill Place, London, England, E14 5RE), is the controller of your personal data. You can contact us about this notice at info@enoughsafety.com.

2. What we collect

• Voice recordings: audio recordings you make by reading the sample scripts and following the instructions displayed on our website.

• Recording metadata and technical data: date, time, duration, device type, browser and operating system information, microphone-permission status, the recorder’s output format, and technical audio characteristics of each recording. Where available, we may also collect your IP address and similar connection data generated when you use the website.

• Spoken first name: one scripted recording asks you to say your own first name (or the name e.g. ‘Anna’). This forms part of that audio recording; we do not separately store it as a name in our systems.

• Submission record: for each clip we log a pseudonymous participant ID, take number, label, audio stream, recording environment, acceptance status, quality-assurance status, and any free-text notes our reviewers add.

• Contact data: only if you email us (for example to make a request), we collect your email address and the contents of your message, so that we can deal with your request.

• Account information: the limited sign-up details needed to operate your Programme account (such as a username and access credential). We do not ask for your name, postal address, telephone number, bank details or other directly identifying information.

• Optional information: any demographic details (such as accent, age range or first language) you choose to provide to help us build a representative dataset.

3. Why we process your voice samples

The purpose of the processing is to train our artificial intelligence models. Your voice samples will be used as training data to develop, train, test and improve AI models used in our safety products, including a keyword-detection model that recognises a spoken trigger word, and other models that detect and respond to voice and audio characteristics. We develop these as features of our commercial safety products. Your samples may be used for AI training, including retraining and refinement of existing models and training of successor models for the same purposes, including commercially to support our safety products. We may also use your samples for related quality assurance, to validate model performance, and to create derived technical data (such as acoustic features extracted from recordings) for the same training purposes. As part of quality assurance and labelling, your recordings may be listened to and labelled by our staff or contractors, or processed using automated review tools.

4. Lawful basis

• The voice recordings: we treat these as anonymous information that is not stored with, or linked to, anything that identifies you. On that basis we consider the recordings are not personal data and do not require a lawful basis under UK GDPR.

• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): we process limited account information, recording metadata and technical data (such as device information and, where available, your IP address) to operate, secure and administer the Programme and to keep the website safe. Where you email us to make a request, we process your email address and message to handle your request and to comply with our legal obligations.

5. Aggregation

Your voice samples are aggregated with samples from many other contributors before being used to train our models. We apply technical and organisational measures designed to limit the ability to single out individual contributors. One scripted recording deliberately asks for your first name; apart from that, we ask you not to include personal information about yourself or anyone else beyond the scripted content. If you deviate from the scripts, any additional information you reveal will form part of the recording.

6. Limits on deletion

Because the recordings are anonymous and are not linked to anything that identifies you, we are generally unable to locate, change or delete any particular person’s recordings. If you email us, we will use your email address only to deal with your message and any related correspondence, and we will keep it only as long as needed for that purpose. Important limit: once your samples have been used to train a model, your individual contribution becomes part of the model’s learned parameters and is inseparably combined with contributions from many others. It may not be possible to remove, return or delete your individual contribution from a trained model. Because the recordings are anonymous, we are generally unable to identify or delete any particular recordings, and we may continue to use both the recordings and the models trained from them.

7. Who we share your samples with

• Service providers who host, store or process data on our behalf, including cloud infrastructure providers.

• Development partners and contractors who work on our AI models, including those who review and label submissions, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

• Professional advisers, regulators and authorities where required by law, and a buyer or successor in a business sale or reorganisation. We do not sell your voice samples or use them for advertising. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we put in place safeguards required by UK GDPR, such as an International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or rely on UK adequacy regulations.

8. Retention

• Voice recordings and metadata: retained indefinitely from submission on the basis that these are anonymised and we are not able to identify you from the sample and for the life of the relevant models.

• Trained models: retained for the life of the relevant product or model. As explained in section 6, individual contributions cannot be separated out once a model is trained.

• Withdrawal and rights correspondence (including any email address you contact us from): retained for six (6) years after your request is resolved, and only as long as needed to evidence that we handled it.

9. Your rights

Data protection rights (such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection) apply to the limited personal data we hold about you, such as your account, technical and email data. Because we treat the voice recordings as anonymous, these rights do not attach to the recordings themselves. Three points are specific to this Programme:

• Because we treat the recordings as anonymous, erasure and portability do not apply to them; in any event, as explained in section 6, individual contributions embedded in a trained model cannot be separated out.

• You will not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you as a result of participating in the Programme. Because we do not collect information that directly identifies you, we may not be able to link you to your samples without your help (Article 11 UK GDPR). Where this is the case, we will ask you for additional details, such as your account or submission reference; if you cannot provide them, we may be unable to act on your request. To exercise any right, contact info@enoughsafety.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), although we would welcome the chance to address your concerns first.

10. Eligibility

The Programme is open only to individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect voice samples from anyone under 18; if we become aware that we have done so, we will delete them.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. If we make material changes affecting how your samples are used, we will publish the updated notice on our website and notify you through your account before the change takes effect and, where the change involves a new purpose, tell you about it before we rely on it.
